Via East Midlands in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council, are launching the “Christmas on the Road” campaign to promote road safety during the busy festive period.

This campaign features a Road Safety Advent Calendar, offering daily tips from 1st to 25th December to help everyone stay safe on the roads. Each tip will be simple, practical, and accompanied by a local artist’s illustration, providing advice for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike. The tips aim to raise awareness and reduce the higher road risks often seen during Christmas.

We need your support to spread the word! Please encourage your community to follow @viaeastmidlands on social media (X: Via East Midlands (@viaeastmidlands) / X, LinkedIn: Via East Midlands | LinkedIn, Facebook: Via East Midlands | Newark | Facebook) for daily updates. By sharing these posts and using the hashtag #SafeRoadsThisChristmas, we can collectively create a safer environment for everyone on the roads this Christmas.

Together, we can reach even more people and make a real impact in keeping our community safe. A simple reminder could be all it takes to help someone stay safe this holiday season. Thank you for your support and everything you do for our community not just at Christmas but throughout the year.
