Identify and propose opportunities to improve the villages environmental  issues

Lesley, Helen

The environment WP have been busy continuing our reduction in waste at the village centre.  Clerk has reported a significant reduction in paper in all areas.  The continued focus on efficiency and maintenance has resulted in reduction in energy useage also with boiler servicing and new windows and doors.

our efforts to connect with the local groups and organisations in the village and neighbouring villages to gain ideas and offer support continues. St Michaels school have kindly offered space in the school carpark for village recycling bins.  We will be reaching out to the village to ask for suitable suggestions.

FPC have ordered 32 trees from the NSDC scheme which were planted last Friday with the help of Community Spaces volunteers. We continue to welcome support and invite anyone to come and join us to share ideas and support at our next meeting. If you are interested please email Gabby@farnsfield-pc.uk
