Brown bin issues due to frost and heavy freezing

I’ve been contacted by a number of residents but it appears the issue is more widespread than I first found.

When Brown Bins for garden waste were out for collection recently there was a hard frost and not all contents were removed as a consequence (They were frozen in place!!) The problem was resolved for some but not all residents by the NSDC Team re-visiting,

To fix this for all residents can I ask residents to report the bin themselves either by calling NSDC Customer service (01636 650000) or using the online form on the following link: Missed Household Bin (newark-sherwooddc.gov.uk)

Once reported, the team will then aim to return to collect within 5 working days.

Please note that here is only a ‘once a month’ monthly Brown Bin collection in the winter months.
